Rachel Crouch is a passionate change agent and systems thinker with a proven track record of rapidly transforming classrooms and increasing student achievement. Rachel has over 10 years of Mathematics education experience working in inner city schools, both in the classroom and administratively. While in the classroom, her students consistently reached mastery of the Mathematics College Readiness Standards/Common Core State Standards, and outperformed their network counterparts. She has facilitated professional development courses for teachers of all disciplines. Some topics include, but are not limited to; Authentic Application and Cultural Relevance, Higher Order Thinking Questions, Classroom Management, Cooperative Learning, and Differentiated Instruction: Practical Classroom Implementation, and Effective Classroom strategies for Mathematics Teachers. She has also served as a lead Math Teacher and designed the math curriculum for two DC Public Charter Schools. The inequalities in education will always be her focus. Her passion is leading the way to ensure that students in the inner city receive an education that makes them competitive and qualified to compete in our global economy.
