Only registered attendees can create personal agendas. Typically, you'll receive an invitation from notifications@sched.org to activate your attendee account on sched within 48-36 hours of your registration. As the activation invitation message comes through an automated email system, please make sure to check your "spam" or "promotions" folders for this message. You may wish to add the email address notifications@sched.org to your contacts to make sure your access invitation and other conference announcements sent through the schedule system are delivered to your primary inbox.

Once your account is activated, you can select the sessions you’d like to add to your schedule and create your own personal agenda for the 2015 MidSchoolMath National Conference! You can add sessions in several ways; by clicking on the circle next to the session name so it changes to a check-mark or by clicking on the “add to my sched” button on the session description pages.  Please remember to select only one session per time period!

Trying to decide which concurrent sessions to attend? Here’s what you’ll want to know:

There are three types of concurrent sessions at the conference: Engage & Explore, Math Story Projects, and Powerful Pedagogy. A diverse range of content and math topics are covered across all three types of sessions. Each session features a set of “tags” that describe the content matter. When you read a session description, you can review the tags listed at the bottom to ensure this session will be of interest to you. You can then click on an individual tag to see what other sessions are being offered that address that particular topic or content area.

You can also search to see all sessions with a particular tag. For example, if you teach students with special needs and are interested in attending sessions that will address and discuss modifications and adaptations, go to the Sched Search field (located in the right-hand column on your screen, under the icons), and search for “Learning for All” or “Differentiated Instruction.” This will bring up all sessions with these tags. You can also search by grade level, for example “CCSS G8," or subject area, like "Geometry" to find sessions that align to specific grade level standards or subjects.
